I'm a final-year Civil Engineering student focused on climate-resilient infrastructure. My research on low-cost flood barriers has been presented at two regional conferences, and I've spent two years volunteering with a rural water-access NGO in the Ayeyarwady Delta — work that shaped which questions I actually want to spend a graduate degree answering.

I'm applying for the Chevening Scholarship and the Taiwan MOE Scholarship to pursue graduate study in disaster-resilient infrastructure, with the goal of returning to work on flood mitigation policy and design in Myanmar. This site exists mainly for scholarship committees — everything on it is meant to answer "why this field, and why you" as directly as I can.

Outside research, I coordinate a small volunteer program mapping water access points in flood-prone villages, which is where most of what I know about this problem actually came from.
